Rosario Isabel Dawson was born May 9 1979. She is an American producer, actress and director. In 1995 she made her debut in a feature film with the drama independent Kids. Her roles in subsequent films include He Got Game (1998) and Josie and the Pussycats (2002). Dawson also provides voice-overs for Warner Bros./DC Comics and ViacomCBS Nickelodeon's Nickelodeon unit. As part of her character in Rent, Dawson was awarded the Satellite Award in Best Supporting Actress Motion Picture. And for Top Five, Dawson was nominated for the Critics Choice Movie Award in Best actress in Comedy. Dawson was born on the 9th of May 1979 in New York City. Her mother, Isabel Celeste, is of Afro-Cuban and Puerto Rican ancestry. Rosario was 16 at the time Isabel was born. Her mother, Isabel Celeste, never was married. Patrick C. Harris. When Rosario was one year old, her mother married Greg Dawson, a construction worker. In this union, Dawson has a half-brother, Clay, who is 4 years younger than her. Dawson is also known for her appearances in comic book adaptations. This includes Gail Sin City (2005), Sin City (2005), Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014), Claire Temple (2015-2018) as well as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman in the DC Animated Movie Universe. She also plays Barbara Gordon/Batgirl in The Lego Batman Movie. She played Ahsoka Tano in the Mandalorian's second season, which will air in 2020. She will play the role in the Disney+ original series Ahsoka. She is also a regular part in the Dwayne Johnson autobiographical comedy series Young Rock in 2021.
