Jillian Noel Hennessy

Jillian Noel Hennessy is a Canadian actor and singer from Canada. Her most well-known work is her roles in the American television show Law & Order, on where she played prosecutor Claire Kincaid for three seasons and Crossing Jordan, on which she played the lead character, Jordan Cavanaugh, for six seasons. She also appeared in movies such as RoboCop 3 & Most Wanted as well as independent film Chutney Popcorn & The Acting Class. The movie was written and directed by her. Hennessy was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy her father was a marketing executive and salesman. It required frequent travel that led to numerous family relocations. Maxine Her mother, also known as Maxine passed away in 1982. She left her daughter under the care of Eleanor, her paternal grandmother. John Paul Hennessy Jr. has a younger brother as well as Jacqueline is a twin sister. Jacqueline works as host and journalist for the Canadian television program. Hennessy has Irish as well as French, Swedish, Italian and Swedish heritage from her father. She also has mostly Ukrainian Roma and Austrian heritage from her mother. After graduation from Grand River Collegiate Institute (both in Kitchener) She then was a student at Stanley Park Senior Public School. She also took part on the Toronto subway. Hennessy as well as her sister were among the first actors to be cast as twin call girls in 1988's Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, Gillian Anderson's sister, stated that she was chosen for The X-Files for Dana Scully's part. Hennessy also played the part of Dr. Marie Lazarus on RoboCop 3. In 1993 Dick Wolf signed Hennessy to play the role of Claire Kincaid assistant district attorney on Law & Order. She played the character for three seasons before she left the show in 1996.
