Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell is an American chef television personality as well as a former teacher in the Institute of Culinary Education. Burrell is host of the Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Chef along with being the host of Worst Cooks in America. The spiky blond hair and bubbly presence, Anne Burrell eliminates the intimidation of restaurant dishes and reveals concise easy-to-master techniques for home cooks on her Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant Chef. Chef Burrell is also a part of many of New York's best establishments, studied Italian food along with its traditional recipes, and took part in Food Network Iron Chef America. When she was a kid in Upstate New York Chef Burrell was inspired by food. After earning an English and Communications degree from Canisius College in Buffalo NY she pursued her interest in the world of food and restaurant management by enrolled in The Culinary Institute of America. According to her "I loved being a Culinary Institute of America (CIA) student. I enjoyed every moment." I didn't have enough knowledge, couldn't do enough couldn't work hard enough. After graduation, chef Burrell went on to spend one year in Italy taking classes at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners during her time at La Taverna del Lupo in Umbria and La Bottega del 30 a one-Michelin star restaurant in Tuscany. During her time in Italy she learned to recognize and comprehend the principles of Italian culinary and cultural traditions that made a lasting impression from a culinary viewpoint. Burrell was a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which brightens children who are facing challenges. She is also a Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation celebrity ambassador where she is an advocate for children with diabetes and awareness. She travels frequently around the country in her role as both a mentor and public speaker in which she speaks about her professional life and the joy of cooking. Anne said she felt lucky having the opportunity to impart her enthusiasm to many others.

Mary McDonnell, a two-time Oscar(r),-nominated actress, is best famous for her performance on screen in historical and modern roles. She also has a long list of roles on stage as well as screen. Mary Eileen McDonnell was born on April 28, 1952 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, to Eileen (Mundy) and John McDonnell, a computer consultant both from Irish heritage.   Amy Poehler, born September 16, 1971 was an American actress, comedian, and writer. After studying improv at Chicago's Second City and Improv Olympic in the early 1990s, Poehler co-founded the improvisational-comedy troupe Upright Citizens Brigade. The group moved to New York City in 1996 where their act became a half-hour sketch-comedy series on Comedy Central in 1998. Poehler was the first member of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. She also joined the Saturday Night Live cast in 2001.
